The Atlantic Ballroom, located within the historic Atlantic Hotel in Berlin, MD, is a perfect venue for smaller groups wishing to locate their conference or gathering in a classic country setting.
The 114-year old building has been restored and lovingly brought back to the charms and graciousness of the Victorian period. A quiet and relaxing atmosphere is often the most important factor when selecting a location for a strategic brainstorming session, an annual executive board meeting or a gathering to entertain clients or patrons.
The Ballroom will accommodate up to 80 for dinner, 125 for receptions and approximately 50 for a U-shape table setup. A small break-out room is situated off the main ballroom which will accommodate up to 30 people.
Other possible venues for smaller gatherings are a Ladies Parlor which will accommodate up to 10 with informal seating, The Anna Suite which is perfect for private gatherings or small private dinner of 10 or less, and the Drummer's Café Sun Porch (enclosed) which will accommodate up to 30 for lunch or dinner.
The Ballroom has all the amenities of an 1895 drawing room with a fireplace, a stained glass window, brass and etched glass chandeliers, a small piano, greenery and a multitude of outside windows allowing abundant natural light. A graceful arch extends across the center of the room. The ballroom is located off the center entrance hall of the hotel and easily accessible from front and back doors.
Beautifully decorated Victorian period Guest Rooms are available for your group's overnight requirements. Eighteen (18) DeLuxe, Standard and Junior Suites, plus a fully equipped Suite with Kitchen facilities as well as a Gardner's Cottage are tastefully furnished in Period décor and all have private bathrooms.
Our culinary team is headed by Chef Leo D'Aleo. The catering for the Atlantic Ballroom is handled by the same kitchen as our historically famous, Drummer's Café. From a simple luncheon to a classic 5-course dinner, our team will provide the quality and attention to detail that you would expect from a four-star hospitality property.
